Because I confess: my answer is yes. And if not stopping \u2013 at least I feel slowed down sometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">***<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ode to self-esteem<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dear wrinkle slightly below each of my eyes,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I like you because you appear each time I need to smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">You are a testimony that my life so far has provided me plenty of opportunities to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">This wrinkle stands for joy in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A reason to be grateful for.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dear scar above my lips.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I like you because you tell a story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I decided to frame it as a story of love and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">You are with me since the moment I fell out of my parents\u00b4 bed where I experienced the safety of growing up in a loving family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">This scar stands for care in my life because whatever happens, whenever (and where ever I fall from) I know there will be somebody looking after my well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I am a lucky person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dear freckled nose,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I like you because despite your discussable shape you allow me to inhale what not only fills me with oxygen but with the joy of being alive: fresh air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I don\u00b4t know what the freckles could stand for but I know where they \u201cstand\u201d on comes from my mother\u00b4s side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Known and unknown traits from the past letting me breathe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dear multi-colored eye-lashes,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I like you because you show that things don\u00b4t need to end how they have started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">There is a spectrum of everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">And you are not totally straight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Life takes turns and curves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">These eyelashes stand against uniformity in life. They stand for<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>exploring and living life in different facets, colors, and in movement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dear scar above my right eye,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I like you because I cannot tell where you stem from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">You stand for mystery in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Not everything can be explained which doesn\u00b4t mean that it cannot be there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You are a sign of miracle in life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dear blue-grey eyes,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I acknowledge you. In the year 2020 you still represent privilege.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Something one benefits from without having contributed to anything in particular. A matter of destiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">You stand for responsibilty and duty \u2013 this starts with having my eyes widely open to see what\u00b4s going on on this planet and act accordingly. Instead of a sign of distinction and difference you shall be one of deep TRUST which unfolds by daring to look into each other\u00b4s eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You stand for CONNECTION, a foundation of peace.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dear right hand,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">I like you because you allow me to recreate mental space through the outlet of thoughts through writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You stand for action and reflection in life, and for support.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Dear self-esteem,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">You better took note of these words. They are dedicated towards you. Whenever you are hiding I\u00b4ll remember you of them. I promise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Together we are strong. And the world needs us now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">You are a sign of intrinsic value.
